The last great year if music. It went downhill quickly

I listened to the hell out of both Hot Fuss and Funeral.

In my opinion, Hot Fuss was the last great rock album made; with Mr. Brightside being an iconic, classic song that you will still hear twenty years from now.
Useless trivia -- the Bassist is from Iowa.

Name some great rock albums from the past decade. Most of them have been horrific.

regardless of what you think of green day and that album, it was a HUGE album to the point that it became a broadway musical.
and take me out was probably one of the biggest singles of 2004, if not the biggest one.

Name them.
I looked at your list from page one; those are shitty bands that put out shitty albums.

too many to name, and a senseless debate for a senseless stance

It's not senseless at all. The iconic rock album is seemingly a thing of the past. I'm all ears, if you have examples of great albums without bad songs, but I cannot recall any over the past decade.

There's been plenty of albums I thought were great over the last ten years. Everybody has different taste in music.

Reflektor by Arcade Fire is a great album IMO. Devil Put the Dinosaurs Here by Alice in Chains as well. Both 2013 I think.
