Awful troll.

Look at me I announce that I don't like the Beatles, that makes me cool right?

That being said, Wild Honey Pie should be on that list along with I Wanna Be Your Man

Piggies and Glass Onion belong on that list before any of the ones mentioned.

For real.

Abbey Road....what a hack job that was. Any chimp with a piano could have made that steaming load of cat shite.

Disclaimer: that was sarcasm, for all the dense people in here.

what a stupid frickin list.

why don't we just do it in the road is probably their worst, or at least one of the 10 worst.

I didn't bother clicking the link, but just what's quoted in the OP is do downright moronic it's cringeworthy. They didn't "decide" to become anything, the drugs influenced them to be so. If the backstreet boys did a bunch of drugs and turned their sound into one of the best loved, timeless, classic, most influential bands of all time his metaphor might have a point.

I agree, I'm not really in love with the early, ed sullivan, clean cut moptop beatles. It was very pop-ish and formulaic. But after they started hammering down drugs on the reg they changed, for the better. Their sound was groundbreaking and created some of the best music ever made.

The Beatles are the GOAT. You know it. I know it. We all know it. I'm sorry your life is so empty, Burt.

Vice "journalists" are pretty hit or miss these days. Lots of Brooklyn hacks on there. I don't bother with that site anymore outside of Epicly Laterd.

Author lost credit for the article when he said this about Blackbird

quote:

The song is a little lullaby, though for some reason there's a guy tapping a little hammer against a wood block in the background. He's singing about a bird

Beatles haters are fun to watch because they have to come up with extreme hyperbole, like the Backstreet Boys analogy, to convince themselves tGOAT sucks

No non-instrumental song ever should be more than seven minutes long unless it is black metal
beatles hater or not, author is an idiot

the jabroni beatles fanboys are more fun to watch. It's always a treat for a lurker when the most vanilla mb posters (jumpingtheshark, gctiger, daveengland/heady/souljah) try to defend the beatles worst music (coincidentally their greatest hits) after they dished out 140+ bucks to see a Laul McCartney concert.

accurate analogy imo. They were the boy band of the 60s. Teenage girls were drooling and fainting over them just like Nsync or bstreet boys. The truth hurts hence the burthurt

to convince themselves tGOAT

Do people still seriously think the beatles are the GOAT?

You do realize they were very influential in the making of '60's culture? I'm thinking most of the haters here are from that very spoiled and entitled generation that makes up the Mellinials. May you never know the feeling of seeing your brothers fired upon by your own army on your own soil or forcibly deported to the jungles of SE Asia or the sands of the middle east to fight for democracy/oil. I don't see Mylie Cyrus or TSwift sparking social change, but good luck with that.

Is that the era that had the most fans of The Melvins?
