The country singer says he tested positive for coronavirus almost one month after first experiencing symptoms.

What a f’n idiot. There are plenty of things to complain about with some level of legitimacy, but Sturgill is literally gonna pull something out of his arse that’s not even remotely accurate.

As much as I enjoy Sturgill's music, I hate his political agenda that he drags into everything.
I know he doesn't give a shite, but he's potentially losing portions of his fan base by making these comments. My guess is that his response to that would be, "Good."

So it’s trumps fault he caught the virus in Europe?

I tend to avoid anybody that tries to invoke politics into EVERYTHING they say or do....unfortunately that sometimes includes musicians. That even includes people who I would probably consider myself "on their side" when it comes to politics. I just get sick of hearing the shite either way.

People here might be surprised but 99.9% of the bands and songwriters you listen to have the exact same political views as sturgill.
Food for thought.

That's perfectly fine. People can have whatever political views they want. That's the beauty of being an American. Don't shove them in my face constantly though, whether I agree with you or not.

I try to only listen to folks that I’m pretty sure share the same political views as myself. The LACS, Hank Jr, Kid Rock, Jawga Boyz, Bottleneck, etc.

You see a whole lot of this with Sturgill it seems. I'm not saying I don't like the guy. He's easily one of my top 5 favorite singers, but to act like he doesn't inject his political views into places they don't really need to be is foolish. I don't care, and I'll still listen to him, but he still does it.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s just trying to get some more attention. Dude is sad.
