Somebody had a picture of him as a student in the quad a few years back . There’s other pics of him in Various LSU shirts floating around too .

Stephen Stills definetly went to LSU in the early to mid 60's.
I was told he live on "Steele Blvd." (off Acadian) during this time.
There is pictures of him out there with him wearing a LSU Jersey.
He also performed at the PM Assembly Center (April 1972) with the entire band wearing LSU Jersey's.The Jersey's are nothing like today's Jersey's. Just a number on the front.
