I think I might hate the lyrics to that song more than any other song.

The Gaslight Anthem's '59 Sound album has a ton of references to bands and artists. A short list off the top of my head:

Springsteen--I'm on Fire
Counting Crows--Round Here
Elvis is directly referenced by name.
Bob Seger--Night Moves

There are a ton of literary references too.

Edit: and a song title with Miles Davis in it. Don't know how I forgot that.
