Me too. I just can't believe it. There is not a station that I can listen to. For all I know 103.3 may still be alright but I'm not listening.

I heard Saliva on 98.1 the other day. Maybe it's what your looking for after all.

Hate to break this to you but seeing how Gen-X is now between the ages of 48 to 29, most Gen-X music is considered "classic".

BTW.... I'm a Gen-X'er myself.

103.3 used to play 80's and 90's pop and alt rock. 103.3 now plays soft classic rock. They changed formats.

Why we needed another classic rock station in South LA is beyond me. I pretty sure 98.1 and 95.7 have that covered pretty well.

BR doesn't have a modern rock station anymore other than 91.1 and that's hit and miss

just looked it up it's suppose to be 65 to 80. but no way someone 14 years older than me remotely has the same taste in music. gen x was more used during my brother (6 years older) and my high school years when it came to a music reference. which is what this thread is geared towards.

I'm not sure I'd consider someone born after 1980 a generation X'er. I think 1965 is more generation X than someone born in 1981. Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley would be late forties now.

So it's like 98.1 and 103.3 then? Got it. Thanks for confirming what I said.

Wow, you are incredibly stupid.

How much Motown do you hear on 98.1?
