dont get me wrong i like classic rock but 3 classic rock stations in this town seems a bit excessive to me.

What's the other one? 98.1, 103.3 (light classic rock) ... What's the other classic rock?

I agree, but I'm sure the stations are just trying to play the genre of music that will attract the most listeners. That being the case, I would assume the majority of terrestrial radio listeners are in their mid 40's - 60's. Most gen-Xers probably listen to various internet radio stations, itunes, etc. While I liked 103.3, I was probably in that minority that still listens to terrestrial radio.

Hate to break this to you but seeing how Gen-X is now between the ages of 48 to 29, most Gen-X music is considered "classic".
BTW.... I'm a Gen-X'er myself.

Had been two of my go-to stations. I guess 103.3 still is since classic rock is better than most of the radio.

Isn't there a 93.7 or 94.1 or something like that out of Lafayette that plays at least some heavy 90s rock?

93.7. ... That's it. Might be worth a shot. Don't know how much they've changed since I lived in LA.

93.7 is rock
94.1 is hip hop I think

I was upset when I heard they changed.. That was my go to station when I would come to Baton Rouge. I could pick it up sometimes in Lafayette.

not really.

93.7 specializes in new douche rock. 90% of it is terrible. they'll play an occasional good throwback.

My stations were 104.5 and when nothing was on 103.3. Now there is no other choice. It really has ruined my radio experience.
