Strange Kind of Woman Deep Purple

The Made in Japan album may be the greatest live rock album ever.

And while it's a Blue Oyster Cult cover, this was my favorite track from Metallica's Garage Inc album Astrology

Long, Long, Long - The Beatles/George Harrison

Yes, it’s the Beatles. Yes, it’s from the most popular album of all time, but Long, Long, Long is often viewed as a filler track. I view it to be one of Harrison’s best. It’s quiet, spare, sincere, haunting, meditative and spiritual, even playful in its coda. It reflects the qualities of the man who penned it, I believe more than any song in his catalogue and is indicative of his shift to a folkier sound after spending time with Dylan and The Band. Ringo provides powerful drum work and McCartney’s Hammond Organ is played to eerie effect.

Love, Hate, Love - Alice In Chains

Quite simply, no other song showcases Staley’s range and control of voice quite like the moody Love, Hate, Love.
