Ryan Adams is playing the Saenger on Saturday May 5th. He will be playing a tribute show, the entire Rolling Stones album Exile on Main St., and probably some other stuff. Tickets go on sale April 2nd. I just bought them on presale. The code is Tumbling. This should be pretty awesome.

This and this. Weird person to headline that show imo.

I think it was his idea, at least that’s how it seemed advertised

Let me save everyone some trouble.
Side pit seats are $359.50 + ticket master fees.
Orchestra seats are $189.50 + ticket master fees.
Balcony seasts are $139 + ticket master fees.
He put on a great show at the Civic last year, but I can’t imagine shelling out that kind of money for a tribute show.
ETA:
Rows C—J on the balcony are $139. The available ones for rows K and back are $69.50 plus fees.

thanks. I was at the Civic and I'll pass on this one.
I'm about tired of tribute shows. I have three tix to as the crowe flies, I'd like to get rid of.

That sounds pretty awesome, just got the email. I just thought that was a clever name for the concert, not a cover show. I wonder if I can use my vouchers from Ticketmaster for this

Same here. Still expensive though

It was more clever when karl denson used the name last year for his rolling stones tribute show. These dudes just jacked the name.

Adams is the great imitater. He can sound like anything from Dylan, Elton John, The Grateful Dead, Morrisey to Slayer (not kidding).
He'll kill it.

Not to mention it's an album that sounds like a pretty direct influence on Adams' sound.

I got to see him play "16 days" but in the style of death metal
Was actually listening to some old Whiskeytown yesterday and multiple songs referencing how he's singing country because punk rock is too hard to sing. It's like he realized his talents were more suited to alt country and more mellow rock, but in his heart he wants to play much different styles. The couple times I've seen him he has goofed around with his songs like that.
