Ive been listening to the Disgraceland podcast recently and my god its staggering to think about the human garbage the music industry has produced
1)Varg from mayhem - maybe recency bias since i just saw the movie, but burning churches to the ground, murdering your bandmate, and being a neo nazi has gotta rank him pretty high
2) Jerry lee lewis - Dude use to shoot meth straight into his stomach. That blows my mind lol But in addition to marrying his 13yr old cousin hes suspected with killing at least one of his wives, maybe two. And beat the living shite out of all of them
3) Gg Allin - Where to even start. Dude legendarily had a micro penis but wouldn't hesitate to get naked onstage and piss and throw his feces at the audience. Or sling his blood at them. Went to jail and prison over 50 times. Just a nasty bastard

Dude, you shouldn’t dis Jerry Lee. I’m not sure of some of those allegations, but his cousin was hardly a victim.
Hell, true confession. When I was a freshmen in college I had a date with a girl who technically was a second or third cousin. It was very innocent. Just the movies and drove her back to her dorm. She was pretty hot, though. It was seen as doing a good deed both my mom and her mom(my aunt). Maybe I should try to get in touch with her and write a song about it.

Dude was 20 and married a 13yr old. Thats disgusting. And his 4th and 5th wives both died from mysterious accidents
One drowned in his swimming pool and the other supposedly from a methadone od. The police investigation surrounding the latter was some of the most botched good ol boy small town b.s. ever lol If it had happened anywhere else he goess to prison 100 times out of 100. The girl told someone that same night that she was leaving him

Cheated on Ozzy for years with Zakk Wylde and others. Started feuds with Iron Maiden, ICP, and Smashing Pumpkins. The Pumpkins feud was mainly with Corgan and he is an a-hole too so I'll cut her some slack for that. The Maiden feud is unforgivable though.

But speaking of the movie, Lords of chaos, that you referenced, the three murder/death scenes in it are 3 of the most brutal scenes I’ve watched in a movie I think. I saw the documentary years ago, so I was aware of what went down, but it’s a pretty crazy story, and the movie is definitely worth a watch, even if you don’t like Norwegian black metal.

I can't imagine anyone not into this kind of music being interested in seeing this movie. The people who are into this music already know the real story and won't watch this movie because its mostly made up. Varg may be a bit extreme, but he is no different from the gangsta rappers selling drugs, robbing and murdering people. Both got their street cred in their own ways. The rappers are mostly glorified though.
