The great deceiver box set. Period.
Bruford drummed for Yes, Whetton was bassist and lead singer for Asia, cross was killer on violin.
Then there is Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Alan Parsons. Did production for dark side of moon.

If those are still in print then you couldn't pick a better set of live recordings to start with. If I recall, those were the first vault releases Fripp released in the 90's after his legal conflicts were all resolved. Robert, or "Bob 'Chuckles' Fripp," was a lot more talkative and laid back in those years. There's even an improv that he introduces as being intended to simulate the experience of certain substances, or something to that effect. I'm not going to check my discs right now but I think it's on the first disc of the set. Maybe the second.
Those were a real eye opener for me. Those were peak years for the band and those performances are pretty incredible. And great quality recordings. I was resigned to only having 10 King Crimson studio albums in my collection. Earthbound and USA weren't available on CD. Then Robert put the band back together, released VROOOM, then Thrak, and then the floodgates of live material opened up. I've now got well over 100 discs (including remastered versions of Earthbound and USA). Not to mention the side "projeKcts." There's actually a lot more territory to explore with Crimson than there is with Floyd. Nothing as iconic as Floyd but I'd say it's more esoteric. And nobody plays guitar like Fripp. He's an eccentric genius.

Try Stomu Yamashta’s Go.
ETA: Assuming you meant latter-day, prog-ish Pink Floyd, and not the actually psychedelic early Pink Floyd...which may explain why you never found anything to your liking.

Most of these have been mentioned but here are some suggestions:
Alan Parsons Project -- Tales of Mystery & Imagination
APP -- I Robot
These 2 are contemporaneous with Pink Floyd, are concept albums and have a similar feel.
Radiohead -- I would start with OK Computer, then Kid A / Amnesiac and the Bends. OK Computer is probably the closest to a PF album in their catalog.
Flaming Lips -- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots --similar in tone to a PF-type concept album.
David Gilmour -- David Gilmour -- often overlooked and under appreciated, his first solo album fits in well with the mid-70s PF sound.
Beck -- Sea Change -- similar in spirt to WYWH, a concept album about loss.

I would agree, Radiohead especially OK Computer has some Pink Floyd traits to it.

Porcupine Tree have several albums that fit the bill, their 2 most popular albums kind of stray from psychedelic rock, but stuff like Voyage 34 and Moonloop are perfect fits.
Dredg - El Cielo is one of the best psychedelic albums of the last 20 years.
John Frusciante - The Empyrean
Jonathan Wilson - Gentle Spirit
Opeth - Sorceress
Shooter Jennings & Heirophant - Black Ribbons

Widespread Panic
some additional bands include String Cheese Incident, Phish, Moe., and the Allman Brothers but I'm not sure ABB would fit in within your definition of "Psychedelic".
Stop-Go - WSFMP
Chilly Water - WSMFP
Party at Your Mama's House - WSMFP
Sundown Betty - WSMFP
You Enjoy Myself - Phish
Texas - String Cheese

Ray Lamontagne-Ouroboros -2016
I've heard his name, but haven't dug in before. Really liking this album halfway through.

He has a ton of great stuff. That album really doesn't sound like anything else he's ever done, but he makes it work beautifully

I would start with Trouble. It's the album that introduced him to a large audience

Agreed. I didn't know about him until the Travelers commercial with that song in it. When I heard it, I said I gotta find out who that soulful woman singer is. Then I found out it was Ray LaMontagne.
