P was known for his LEGENDARY b-sides: erotic city, she's always in my hair, how come u don't call me, 17 days, irresistible bitch, possessed, pink casmiere, and I have left off others. Back in the day, he could have put his b-sides into an album and had another puple rain seller!

Strange Relationship - Sign O' The Times

Girls and Boys - Parade

We Can Funk - Graffiti Bridge

We Can frick - It's an early version of We Can Funk, it's on the re-released version of Purple Rain that came out recently. It's probably a good thing he didn't release this song, because it would have caused a huge spike in pregnancies.

Apparently, the re-released version of Purple Rain is something else. They had started working on it before he died. There's a whole disc of songs that weren't released, so it's like getting a lost Prince album that was recorded in 83/84.

Warner Brothers or whoever the frick needs to get into his vault open pronto. And then they need to hire a full time Prince expert to cull through everything and dole out the best stuff.

"Guitar"

It was a single but not highly charted. Great soloing too.

From a recent album “HITNRUN: Phase 2”:

“Groovy Potential”
“Look at U Look at Me”

A few of my all time favorites, from “The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale”:

“She Spoke 2 Me” (awesome random jazz break for the last 3:00 of the track)

“It’s About That Walk”

“Sarah”

My answer to this is always:

The Continental.

Really like this NPG song.
Video seems to be hard to find.

Not a jam. But When We’re Dancing Close and Slow is so underrated. Never hear that song talked about
