I’m pretty sure most rockers aren’t aware of this one unless they are diehard Stooges fans! Outtake cut from the “Raw Power” sessions. Iggy was clowning around with the lyrics, but the band was 100% down with the KISS concept (Keep It Simple, Stupid).

quote:
On an episode of Fernwood Tonight (starred Martin Mull, Fred Willard, and Frank DeVol of composing fame), Waits’ tour bus broke down in Fernwood, Ohio, so they had him on as a guest. He drank straight from a bottle while being interviewed and performed the above.
And hit Willard up for 50 bucks.

Failure “The Air’s On Fire”

As a young lad, I LOVED this song, just for the title and for the fact that I could actually see an actual two headed dog in my mind! As I got older, the Evil One was still fresh in my memory, but I was immersed more and more into funk. RIP, Roky, may your personal demons be finally exorcised!
