KISS--Strutter 78 from Double Platinum

Had to sneak that one into my house because my parents weren't very fond of KISS. The year was 1979 (I was 12 years old) and I chose this particular album because their faces weren't on the cover and it was easier to hide the album cover in the yellow Sound Shop bag (record store where I bought it). I spent countless hours listening to that album with my head phones on.

Fairly certain this was the first album I bought. Elton John's Greatest Hits in 1974.

Cheap Trick - Clock Strikes Ten(Live at Budokan)

I was 12 years old, and we had a nice stereo, so I let the neighbors enjoy Cheap Trick's live performance greatness too!

When I think of the Good Old Boys album, I always think of this song: Rednecks

Phenomenal album.

My geriatric Hank Williams Sr listening neighbors..

I blessed their ears with Van Valen's 'Eruption', 'Lil Dreamer', and 'Atomic Punk' at full blast that Summer & Fall of 1979 too.
