Pink Floyd Fearless--Hidden Gem

My favorite song to listen to by them. What other hidden gems are out there by Floyd or any of the other greats?

Fearless is great. A lot of the early stuff with Syd gets swept under the rug, I like See Emily Play and Astronomy Domine. Other lesser played PF I like are Young Lust and Goodbye Blue Sky, and even some stuff from the newest album is good IMO, if you like instrumental. I still love the Pulse live album, the bloke who replaced Roger on that album really killed it - I recommend the live version of Run Like Hell from that album.

Love Fearless. Wish Roger would've played it on tour, since he did bust it out on his Desert Trip shows.
Summer '68 is a hidden gem IMO, although I don't know if everyone would be in agreement...

The Endless River album is brilliant. Now, it is more background music to which you live your life, rather than active listening, but still brilliant.
Obviously, DSOTM has been analyzed to death, but The Great Gig in the Sky and Any Colour You Like are brilliant pieces of instrumental music.
All of this stuff I'm talking about here is heavily driven by Rick Wright - the "soul" of the classic Pink Floyd sound.

The Great Gig in the Sky brilliant piece of instrumental music.
Clare Torry makes that song though as fantastic as the instrumentals are. Her wordless vocals are amazing.

I still view the song as instrumental with no lyrical content is delivered. Clare Torry's voice is a soloing wind instrument for purposes of this track.

I second What’s Uh the Deal, one of my favorites by them. Read the lyrics while listening- such a beautiful song...
Try A Pillow of Winds also, it’s the song right before Fearless on the Meddle album.

"Wot's...Uh The Deal", at age 41, had me texting my dad, who I thought to be a huge Floyd fan, why I had never heard the song before. It is an absolutely beautiful, stunning song.
In fact, the entire "Obscured By Clouds" album is fantastic. ..somehow only recorded in 2 days!

"Wot's...Uh The Deal",
I've said it many times before, and several on this board, that I wouldn't mind this being played at my funeral. It's simply beautiful, just an absolutely wonderful piece of music. Gilmour's guitar at the end is one of my favorite pieces of notes strung together I've ever heard.

Im not sure hidden is the correct word but Sorrow is one of the most underrated Floyd tunes of all time.
Sorrow
Pure Gilmour sound. The last 3-4 mins of this song is one of the best live tunes I have ever heard played
Marooned is also a great instrumental that is easy to listen to and chill
Marooned

On what planet is Fearless a hidden gem?

A planet where so many have only heard songs from The Wall, Wish You were Here and Dark Side

Gilmour's first solo album flies under the radar but it's a solid album.

Apples & Oranges - American Bandstand 1967
Dick Clark kind of dances around trying to interview these guys who are clearly high as kites. But I love this little piece of psychedelia.
