So bands widely regarded as the best of all time? OK
Let's be serious...nobody considers phish a great band. They're good at what they do, sure, but overall they're pretty meh.
Radiohead is awesome but their music isn't for everyone and they refuse to do what they're good at AKA pablo honey, the bends, and to a lesser extent OK Computer.
Radiohead is doing different for the sake of being different now. They're wasting Greenwood.

I like Karma Police. I don't really "get" the rest. So there you have it.
Also, people, like the OP, who like 'jam bands' have not only bad taste in music, but also poor life skills generally. In other words, they suck at life.

Kid Rock said he didn't get them, and that unlike 'Sweet Home Alabama', you never hear Radiohead at a party..
Bon Jovi once mused at an magazine in 1980s calling The Replacements the best band in America, replying 'How can that be when he's never heard of them'..
I own every Radiohead and Mats album..have never owned anything by Kid or Jovi.

Yeah, I guess Bill Walton was good at basketball.
I don't have any other examples.

I love how the moron OP puts "people" in scare quotes. WTH was that supposed to signify?

The string of releases from The Bends to In Rainbows is of such a consistently high quality that hadn't been seen since Pink Floyd's run in the 70s.

upvote
I want a guitar album from radiohead again. I hope they progress out of the electronic phase soon but I don't know if they've become bored with it yet.

Oh I get radiohead.
They have just become a boring band that plays boring music.
Just my opinion.
I love the self-glorifying elitism in the OP, though.

That video sums up their music over the last decade for me.

Not this shite again. . .Heady should be limited to 1 thread per week.
I assume you are trolling, but Breesus has a point. Your attitude certainly doesn't persuade people to like the bands you like.

You like Bob Dylan yet think Radiohead has horrible vocals?
quote:I don't know how one can tell with all the whining.
Thom Yorke is a great singer.
quote:Expected. You really don't get music. Don't feel bad about it, most don't.
Not sure if you're trolling or just retarded.

Me, too. I used to love them, but they lost me after Amnesiac.
