When I think nu metal, I think mostly electronic rock and rap rock. I would probably scratch off 50-60% of your list at least if I had a marker and a piece of paper.
I also don't understand the rankings still. I'm assuming your shooting for "most nu metal". Not "best band".
Regardless, having Linkin Park not tier 1 is ridiculous. Hybrid Theory sold 24 million copies worldwide. It was also THE top selling album of 2001. The only rock album to sell more post-1990 is the Black Album.

no, did you see their concert at the varsity? their lyrics and vibe are so cheezy. durst has a better voice and lyrics plus the band itself is very talented

White Pony
Saturday Night Wrist
Diamond Eyes
All better than any album Limp Bizkit ever made.
I'd ask you if you were 14 if I didn't know who you are.

OP your list is pretty much money, but I think you are overrating Limp Bizkit a lot. I don't think they are even that good but to have them in the 1st tier, can't say I agree with that. I would put Kid Rock a lot higher too but that's just me. Everything else I can't argue with. You know your shite.

I know. I'm kind of bummed. A nu metal thread made it 6 pages and it's controlled by a moron. No one with half a brain claims that these bands are the most gifted, but they are sure as hell are entertaining. It would have been fun to get feedback and do a real list with real tiers.

I'll give you that. Deftones is an incredible band. I think they definitely deserve Tier1 status. However, I don't see how chino moreno and carpenter are more talented than Durst. Bizkit also sold more albums
Chocolate starfish and significant other > White Pony
White pony and around the fur had a few good songs but was nothing spectacular. plus Chino moreno is a thug pos LINK
yea bro. stage dives and moshs are soo cool. The guy is pure trash from the way he acts on stage.

I hate to say this but I think I can make a case for Korn getting in the RnR HOF. Their music was pretty groundbreaking when it first came out. No one else sounded like that and they had a huge buzz around them ever since the Blind video debuted. They basically invented a genre, though a shitty one. The fact that they're still around and have been fairly popular for 20 years now is a big achievement. They're on the downside of their career now but I'd still rather see them than most of the recent pop metal bands.

Jimmy eat world isn't nu metal?

I propose the nu metal band "fall out boy" to tier 3 at least. maybe 4.
