The hate for Nickleback is so overblown. They suck arse, but there is far, far worse out there.

Don't they always get butthurt at their concerts? Like they've walked off the stage multiple times or something.
They've been doing this for a bit, calling people out on twitter. Kinda funny actually.

Seriously that's messed up if you go to a concert and you there's a band you don't like you just wait through the shite. You don't act like five year olds and what about the fans of Nickelback there?

It more what they represent than what they actually are. They are a terrible band yes, but to may they are more than that. To many they are the embodiment of all that is wrong with over simplified average at best rock music polluting the airwaves nowadays and insanely popular among kids and douchebags.

I actually liked "Leader of Men" and "Breathe" off their first album.
After that, nope.

I have several friends from Vancouver/Victoria who have told me that they are, and have indeed always been, arrogant pricks. Their drummer put some really cheesy/creepy moves on my friend Ana in about 2002.
