Just listened to it. It definitely sounds like a song he would write for anime. Lots of synthesizers and a driving beat. It's got his unmistakable voice. If you're looking for country Sturgill, this ain't it.

Ha. Dude is a space cadet. Looking forward to the rest of this album. I may have to eat mushrooms or drop acid or something to fully grasp and appreciate it.

Nah it’s pretty dope and I’m sure it will sound way better in context of the album

Neil young used to do this but a lot of it was crap.....and now that I think about it, This sturgill song reminds me of Neil's Computer Age
