Are there any bands out there from countries that don’t speak English that you like? I originally put just "other countries" but got to thinking that the UK and US markets are almost melded into one and those are the only two English speaking countries that have music.

Sight Ros and Mum from Iceland are the only two that come to mind for me. I used to like listening to World Cafe that had good stuff on there but I couldn’t name any of the bands. I hate k-pop / j-pop.

Australia and Canada both speak English and produce a lot of successful musical acts. Rush, Alanis Morissette, Monster Truck, Justin Bieber are all from Canada. Jet and AC/DC are Australian.

A lot of metal bands are from Scandinavia.

K-pop is becoming popular among teens and college aged kids in the U.S.

fricking love this band, can’t wait to see them in Sept.

Metal is full of great bands many of which like Jinjer sing in English. Here are some of mine.

Sweden-Avatar, Bathory
Finland-Nightwish
Germany-Blind Guardian
France-Gojira
Japan-Babymetal, Band Maid
Etc...
