Because it doesn’t effect us in any way unless we are actively being an idiot anyway? It doesn’t much effect my life as someone that has no desire to say it, and doesn’t really care if a black person says it.
Society reacts differently to similar behavior from different types races, genders, religions, etc.... in all kinds of places.
Do you scream into the void at ladies nights happening at bars? Hate seniors discounts? Some black people get to say a word that you don’t.... big frickin deal.

Look, you don't get it. I was raised to never use that word, it's ugly. Still though if we want to pretend that we all have equality, we can't make different rules for each group. If you want everything the same, then the rules have to be the same for everyone, otherwise, you only create animosity. That is the plan. You are going to find out.
