They’re slated to play a music fest here in August. I know some of the financiers of it, and I told them what a risk they were taking putting them as headliners. They said they have some pretty ironclad contract stuff in there to avoid getting screwed by the band (singer).

Doing more shows at the expense of his health isn't doing anyone in that band any favors. They need to shut it down for awhile and get this dude no less than 90 days help. The fans will reward them in the long run for having a stable frontman.

Seriously, is this alcohol or is he into something else? He pretty much remembered all of the words but his voice is completely wrecked. He sneaks off stage that last song and whatever that was took him to la-la land. It really is sad to watch.

So I’m guessing Miranda chewed him up spit him out and the ex wife wouldn’t take him back? Poor guy, it’s pretty easy to see why he’s in the shape he is in right now. He’s either going to get clean and write some more amazing songs or be the next in the Hank and Keith Whitley bunch. So sad.
