Her cover of Soundgarden’s Fell on Black Days is top notch as well

I'm glad she can cover a few amazing songs. Too bad all of her own singles are dog shite.

Exactly, shitty pop star performing other people’s music.

I thought the arrangement and guitar were pretty good but couldn't get over the way she sang certain parts of the song (almost like a caricature of herself or maybe she always sings that way?). Was there a reason that she covered that particular song, has she recently lost someone close from COVID-19?

I much preferred the cover that the guy who did Shelter From the Storm a week or two ago on SNL.

I don't understand what anybody sees in her musically. I thought the Pink Floyd thing last night was horrendous. Her voice gives me near fatal cringes.

This is fascinating to me. I don't care for her at all, and thought she did great with that one.

I’m guessing it was picked solely for the title of the song because of social distancing. But the lyrics don’t really fit that, though I can see some of them fitting.

That is such an iconic song, and a "basic" enough song musically, that's not particularly difficult to perform. Anyone with a decent voice and a good guitar player could do it. (That's not an indictment of the song, by the way--which I absolutely have always loved).

That being said, she didn't screw it up. The red lighting did kind of make for a cool effect though.

My wife, who can barely name a Pink Floyd song, heard it and said, "Wow, She can actually sing. I really like that song!" I had to tell her that my brother's band played it in the late 70's and then I had to play her some Floyd.

Of course, now the "younger folks" who barely know Pink Floyd will use this performance to raise her higher in their eyes/ears. Although I guess exposing them to better music is better than more of her originals.

Kudos to her for picking this song.

That was not good at all. It wouldn’t even be good for a random person, much less a “singer”

Please for the love of humanity, keep Miley Cyrus away from anything Pink Floyd related.

So am I going to be the guy that says while her voice is decent, I didn’t care for that cover And thought it was no better than anything that you could find in a hole-in-the-wall bar on a Thursday night?

I agree.

She kills Jolene but this cover wasn’t great
