Man died on top of the Spanish Moon last night

Was a friend of mine. Pretty bummed about this.

Last night a Baton Rouge man died on the roof of The Spanish Moon. That man was a dear friend of mine and it pains me to have to write about someone I adore so greatly. I spoke to the investigators and they tell me it was a complete accident and they do not believe there was any foul play involved. He was on the roof with at least one other individual when he touched a power line and was electrocuted. I am not listing his name because his family has not yet been notified by investigators. Although I’m sure they have been told, I do not want to be the one to deliver the news. I will, however, provide information regarding the services once it is scheduled. For now, my heart goes out to all of the beautiful people who surrounded this wonderful man. The reality that this amazing person is no longer with us is tragic to say the least.

He played in many bands around town and was a great person. Great musician.

Also a friend of mine..... many mutual friends. He will be greatly missed. Just lost his mom--- so sad.

I didn't know him on a personal level but I had hung out with him through mutual friends many times. And seen him play dozens and dozens of times. I hope you saw PJ's write up about him on Facebook. It was very touching. RIP Dan
