Skull & roses festival in Ventura CA
jazz fest 2nd weekend
cat head jam in Jackson in June
D&C Boulder, the gorge and then SF

I have a ticket to see Guns N' Roses at Metlife again. Nothing else on my radar, I even looked at Ticketbastard the other day and no one jumped out at me as a must see.

a couple suggestions depending on your tastes:

billy strings is a sure fire good time. If he comes near, go

same for tedeschi trucks band. Full on blues rock revue with horns, backup singers and the best guitar player on the planet right now. Incredible live show

Probably mentioned it before, but my wife works for a large venue. We get to go to all shows for free. This year, Steve Miller is playing. The biggest act for me that I haven't seen yet. And I have a cousin getting married out of state that day

Will get to see Robert Plant and Alison Krauss though.

So far, I’ve been to Joyce Manor/PUP, Kublai Khan, and a whole lot of local band shows. Coming up Friday is Unwritten Law at Santos. Next Wednesday is Hawthorne Heights in New Orleans and Eric Johnson in BR (haven’t decided which show I want to go to). I was going to go to Friday Hogs, but I’m going to a friend’s band at Shobox in Lafayette instead.

Also planning on seeing Paramore in the Smoothie King Center and The Used at the House of Blues.

I need to get back into local shows but I live in Hammond and have gotten to hate driving home so late from BR and NO. It’s so much more enjoyable out of town when we can spend the night

I saw the Tedeschi Trucks Band back in 2001 long before they were officially the Tedeschi Trucks Band. They opened for Buddy Guy and B.B. King.

Guilty pleasure music for me and saw them live a couple years ago. Was a great, energetic show. She's a very good front-man/woman/person.

Contemplating going see The Mountain Goats and Heartless Bastards, both are playing Chelsea’s in the next few months.

Anyone seen either of them live? Worth making those shows?
