Lawsuit accuses Bob Dylan of sexually abusing 12-year-old girl in 1965

A new lawsuit has been filed in Manhattan Supreme Court against Bob Dylan, alleging the music icon drugged and sexually abused a young girl in the '60s.
The suit claims that Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, molested a 12-year-old girl in 1965. Dylan allegedly groomed the girl, identified in court documents as "J.C.," assaulting her over a six-week period, reports the New York Daily News.
"Dylan exploited his status as a musician by grooming J.C. to gain her trust and obtain control over her as part of his plan to sexually molest and abuse J.C.," the suit reads, according to the Daily News.
The plaintiff claims the abuse left her with long-lasting issues, including anxiety and depression. These long-lasting issues "are of a permanent and lasting natures and have incapacitated plaintiff from attending her regular activities," the suit claims.
Some of the assaults occurred at the "Like a Rolling Stone" singer's apartment at the Chelsea Hotel, notes Page Six.
The suit was filed on Aug. 14 under New York’s Child Victims Act, allowing the plaintiff to bypass the statute of limitations of the assault.

Not that I doubt Mr Tambourine Man did something like this, but why the frick did it take over 50 years to become charges if so?

Maybe he did it but it's kind of unfair to charge someone who has had the quantity of drugs that went through his system is a little unfair. Bob wouldn't be able to tell you what he did last week.

An accusation by a 68y/o about something supposedly occurring 56 yrs ago after nearly every bit of factual defense is gone?
If that doesn't get tossed out on its ear, we have no justice system.

I'm not surprised either, but people who deny Bob Dylan's talent are fools. He is one of the most influential musicians of all time.

He was surrounded by a lot of people back at that time, including his live in girlfriend Suze Rottolo, so I think we will find out if it's true or not. Funny that it happens now, shortly after he sells his catalogue for a few hundred million dollars.

Eh. I wouldn't say he "sucks" as a vocalist. He's a folk singer. He doesn't need to sing like Aretha Franklin. He does just fine for what he does. I think the dude is incredible.
My favorite song of his. Boots of Spanish Leather. Beautifully written, great tune.

Because Mr Tambourine man recently sold his publishing if I’m not mistaken. He’s absolutely loaded with cash with the sale of his catalog

I DGAS about "the quantity of drugs that went through his system". If he raped a 12y/o .... CHARGE HIM IN THE 1960's .... not half a century later.
