I am not an avid rap listener, but sometimes I latch onto a song or two that I get hooked on. I'm hooked on DAMN. Kendrick got me hooked from the end of the opener through DNA. I can't stop listening.

Finally a realistic review. It's just an above average album and certainly not a "classic"and not nearly his best work. Some of the songs are just meh and I wish he would quite all of the beat switches and voice/flow changes mid song it just makes the music less enjoyable to listen to imo.

Yeah, that was probably the best album on the track.
The album was sub par. I seriously am shocked by the love it's getting. Only other KL album I've heard is Good Kid Mad City, and it's MUCH better than this one. I mean, it's not bad, but it's the kind of album I'll happily let come up randomly when I'm playing all of my music. Definitely not something I purposefully come back to.
