There are some really good tracks on this like "DNA" and "Duckworth" and then some WTF is this bullshite tracks like "YAH", "Pride", and "Love".

He is really talented for sure I just wish he was more consistent. He hasn't made an album that is enjoyable to listen to all the way through since GKMC. Joey Bada$$ dropped a better album last friday

TPAB was pretty damn good. You probably shouldn't discuss things you don't know about.

Just like this new album it had some really great A+ songs on it but as a whole album it wasn't enjoyable to me to listen to all the way through. The whole middle of the album after"Alright" to "The Black the Berry" is one big skipfest. Some classic songs on it for sure that I will probably forever keep in rotation I just never play it all the way through like I still do with GKMC .

Hey I'm sure the critics agree. To each their own.

Is it anything like TPAB? That shite was just to out there. Like he was trying to hard to be "artsy" and unique. Hopefully he gets back to GKMC roots

And please god tell me it's not politically driven. That's what steared me away from joeys new album

TPAB is regarded as one of the greatest rap albums of all time, rightfully so.

He puts out nothing but greatness.

My song of the year so far is "I'm Growing Old On Magic Mountain" by Father John Misty, but DNA is a a close 2nd

TPAB has a 96 on metacritic, but y'all wanna downvote? Lol

It's factual that critically it's regarded as one of the all time great rap albums.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Even if you prefer GKMC aesthetically, you can at least recognize TPAB as a well thought out, creative, important piece of work.

I love both albums but tend to favor GKMC. TPAB will be considered a classic (pretty much is already).

There are some major high points on this album but I can't help but feel like it's disjointed. It's a great album and it's better than section 80 but I really don't know if I can put it over GKMC and TPAB as those are masterpieces

I agree, all amerikkkan blows damn out the water.

Dont get me wrong, damn is a good album, but i give joey the advantage.

Joey still has that hunger in his rhymes, k dot is just in a different more comfortable place.

What is the metacritic score for Ilmatic then? Or Ready to Die or 36 Chambers or Paid in Full or other actual classic rap albums because TPAB should be way lower than those imo like the scale would have to go well over 100

I think there might be some legs to the theory based on things his sister and TDE have tweeted. I'm not gonna have too much hope for it though.

I only listened once but DAMN is pretty good. As of now, it's my least favorite of his but that could definitely change with multiple listens.
