Yep. Beyonce having more natural talent than Taylor Swift is arguable. That's she's more of an artist is laughable.
I am no Taylor Swift fan. But she's not only put in the effort to be a well-rounded musician, she's also largely crafted her own image and made herself into a revenue generating machine. Beyonce is also a formidable $$$ force, but I think she gets a lot more help than Taylor has, at least until recently.

It's a matter of beyonce's music actually being mostly made by other people,and swift's music mostly being made by swift. Beyonce is a figurehead for marketing purposes, used mostly for her image and presumably some for her voice. Swift is used for that as well, but she isnt used only for that because she is known for actually writing her own songs which makes her more of an artist.
That was his point. I don't listen to either of them, so I don't really know anything about their processes specifically. If you want to refute his point then say something about how beyonce contributes more to the creation of her art.

taylor swift is a songwriter. beyonce is not. both are "artists" but taylor swift is much more responsible for the production of her art than beyonce.

The point is, somewhat that has a ton of talent doesnt put out shite like this.
