I always thought that Kate Pierson was a good singer despite not particularly liking the B52's music.

I think Love Shack is my most hated song. It definitely holds the record for the ratio of my contributed hatred to amount of AirPlay received.

I always loved their music (especially with chicks)
They stayed at the resort I worked at in Tempe and were utter assholes. Unfortunately, that left a sour taste in my mouth regarding them.

I realize that you may not like them but to say they suck is wrong. They are one of the most unique bands of the last 50 years. They own their sound like no one else. When you hear a song, you know it is them. And they are unbelievable live.

I hate Love Shack too, but their early stuff is great (Rock Lobster a little annoying too). Loved that sound with the guitars and girls singing and it was a great addition to the new wave period. Fred Schneider's voice is very annoying. Their first album is brilliant and the song 52 Girls is their best. Love Kate Pierson.

It was pretty funny the first time I saw the video. MTV then proceeded to see how far they could shove it down everyone’s throat, which caused me to despise it. Outside of it, the only B-52’s I’m familiar with is Rock Lobster.

I just know their radio stuff. I liked that, it was fun. "I've got a Plymouth as big as a whale" cool shite.

Well they had that one song that was/is classic fun party song. Can't recall anything else. I couldn't disagree with suck despite Loveshack.
