Maybe I’m biased, maybe I’m short sighted on my music knowledge.

But to me he has so many bangers in terms of talking about things of substance. Always has me thinking about the actual words of his songs, not a beat or something clever.

Just a few that I would put over Cat Stevens, as far as lyricists.

I love Cat Stevens...but Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Warren Zevon, Brian Wilson...I would put all of them (off the top of my head) ahead of Cat Stevens.
