When I discovered them I probably listened to them like 2 hours a day at work for a couple weeks. And I normally don't listen to a whole lot of their style, whatever you would call it.

This band sounds like a carbon copy of Head and the Heart, Of Monsters and Men, or any other folksy band that has come about in the past 4 years.

I liked Head and the Heart when they came about but I'm getting sick of the same old sound that these bands are putting out.

I preferred them live over recorded... thought they had a nice edge to their sound when they opened for Dawes at Tips...

Doc, you seriously don't hear the similarities between S&R and all those other folksy bands?

They sound absolutely nothing like of monsters and men. In no way shape or form.

They both have female singers and they play guitars so I guess they have two similarities

was at tips that night.

They do bring an amazing amount of energy for a two person junkyard band.

especially in their dynamics, delivery, and energy

oh, and they don't have any "ho hey" parts to their songs

they were fricking awesome live
