Where are you headed on your free ride?

I am not going back too far. August 26,2006. Gdansk Shipyard

Last time Rick Wright and Gilmour played this song together before Rick passed. It was the song that sol me on Pink Floyd when I was 14 years old. A 40 year obsession...

This is 25 mins of perfection but the last 4 mins of this tune is pure perfection. I have always said this song is more of a journey.

Live music just sounds better.

Echoes

Where are you headed?

Back to college to max out student loans to buy Bitcoin, then buy another ticket back to the first Free Bird performance.

Go to 1966-67 and see the Exploding Plastic Inevitable - The Velvet Underground and Nico playing in front of Andy Warhol movies while Warhol regulars go-go danced.

The Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 would be cool too. Jimi Hendrix and The Who played famous sets, but people say Otis Redding stole the show. Plus there was a ton of good acid floating around.

As a Beatles/Everton/Liverpool (the city) fan, probably a Cavern show in 61 or 62

This is the concert that got me into guitar. David's tone throughout that whole concert is godly. I've been chasing it ever since.

Doors and Van Halen in their early days on the Sunset Strip. Bowie's farewell performance as Ziggy where he told the crowd Ziggy was retiring.

I’d go to the New Orleans pop festival (in Prairieville) and actually try to run into my dad and his friends. They have so many epic stories from that time period, so it’d be cool to smoke weed and drink beers with them while getting to hear a bunch of legends of music.
