I liked a lot of their music. They were from Jackson, MS I think. Why did you dislike them so much?

Why the frick would you start a thread about a random band from the 00's that you don't even like?

I make it a point not to post hate in threads unless that hate is in the OP. So yeah, they were another generic bullshite band, like Niclelback or Theory of a Deadman, who appealed to the masses but who's total lack of originality or writing chops turns off anybody with even a bit of an ear for those things. They were one of the bands that made me hate modern rock radio.

Why do people insist on stating opinions in the form of questions? Is this Jeopardy? Why can't they just say "Three Doors Down Sucked"?

Escatawpa, MS to be precise. Down on the coast. Although after Katrina, mailbox-money allowed one of them to live up in a nice hood in J-town.

Thus, my ability to truly say that, for a while, I lived 10 doors down from 3 doors down.

First concert I ever saw was in about 8th grade at a free concert called the Big Rock at stone mountain that was headlined by 3DD. Also the first bewbs I ever saw in person.

They co-headlined with Papa Roach here in Nashville at the Craw fish Boil in 2008. Papa Roach played before them and 3DD closed the show. Unfortunately for 3DD, after Papa Roach killed it, 75% of the crowd left. I felt bad for the boys. I stayed for their set and they weren't as bad as people lead you to believe. They aren't overly great by any means, but not terrible. They are definitely more suited for a small venue/bar setting.
