Stapleton's big break was Tennessee Whiskey. However, while George Jones' version of Tennessee Whiskey in 1983 was completely different, ever notice how Stapleton's arrangement is a COMPLETE RIPOFF of Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind"? Listen for the truth...

Mr Stache, you nailed it. I like a couple of his songs, but the whole thing just feels pre-packaged with him. From the music to his persona.
Jamey Johnson is the man though, I'll listen to that dude sing just about anything. I like some of the stuff that Shooter did, but I haven't paid much attention in awhile. Hootie needs to go back to being Hootie.
