How could Queen choose Adam Lambert to tour as their singer over this guy?

Doesn't make much sense outside of maybe that Adam has younger fans but them drawing people to their shows shouldn't be an issue.

That guy sounds way closer to Mercury than Lambert IMO

Yea he is and he was actually chosen by Queen to lead a Queen cover band called Queen Extravaganza. Just odd that they knew about him and how good he is and went with Lambert

Adam Lambert is a HORRIBLE choice and it's so disappointing that they would choose him to tour with the band. This is the reason why he's so bad, listen to him sing the hard rock section of Bohemian Rhapsody (go to 5:20):

He thinks he's in a Broadway show something. He can't legitimately sing hard rock. I have no interest in seeing Queen with Lambert as the singer.

I would absolutely see Queen with Marc Martel, however I can see why they might be hesitant to use him. He is perhaps too much of a clone. They would have an uncanny valley situation.

well, hopefully the upcoming 'live at the rainbow '74' boxset will right some of the many wrongs queen (or rather, brian may & roger taylor...can't blame john deacon for any of this) has done in recent years....

You expect a group still touring under the name Queen without Freddie Mercury to make good decisions?

as far as I'm concerned the thought of seeing Queen without Mercury, just no.

If they wanted someone already established, it should have been Mika

He sounds closer to Mercury, but it still isn't him. That guy sounds like a Queen album. Which is great, he's talented for sure. But I wouldn't pay to see it live.

He doesn't have the presence of Mercury. And he doesn't have any grit in his voice. Watch a live Queen video and a live video from him and it's not even close to the same show. Queen is just trying to cash in again.

I don't even know who the frick Adam Lambert is.

ETA: Just watched Lambert videos. I think his voice sucks let alone not sounding anything like Mercury.
