Devin Townsend has some heavy shite with clean vocals.

Yeah but Testament went through a death metal vocal phase with Low and Demonic.
Both incredible albums, btw.
Voivod has clean, trippy vocals and they're pretty damn heavy.
Tool is also heavy af.
But I guess "heavy" is subjective...

These are Christian bands that have made it mainstream that I would consider heavy, but clean

Gojira is my kind of heavy. Not really “clean” vocals but I can understand what Joe is saying.

Memphis May Fire is awesome and heavy as hell, but they scream a lot. I love their clean vocal stuff.

Forgot about Testament and Exodus as mentioned before

I considered putting Maiden and Priest in my list, but objectively they are not as heavy as many of the other bands, given the time and they are pioneers/legends. Priest got pretty heavy with Painkiller. They are lighter than Iced Earth music wise. But of course many consider them "heavy" it's a spectrum and incredibly subjective.

Weezer isn't the "heaviest", but they are in the direction of what you are saying. Full on distortion guitars with non growly singing.

I just caught Weezer at the Railbird Festival in Lexington a few weeks ago. They were awesome...and Hashpipe sounded incredible.

Nevermore is who I meant to say instead of Evergrey, earlier. (Ever/Never, I always get those 2 confused. )

How are we this far already and no mention of Slipknot. Not many lead singers out there can throw down like Corey Taylor.

Seeing as I just rolled out of their show at MSG, Dream Theater seems like an obvious choice.
