White hat wearing dave fan? Lulz. They wouldn't even make my top 10. Im just not going to dislike a band because they have become mainstream. Even though most everything I listen to is underground or waaaay before your time. With your handle, your superiority complex about music and your overall demeanor, id say 22 year old going on 35. Amirite?

He plays more shows. He definitely doesn't play any memorable jams.

The man opened up for the Grateful Dead. He can't suck too bad. He writes good music. He might have "sold out" but he has 15-20 thousand new fans at every stop he makes on tour.

I agree with blueindian, he was better when he was younger but i really cant stand him now.

ive always wanted to go to the greek amphitheater. I was dissapointed that phish didn't book gigs there. I've been to Red Rocks and the Gorge for concerts and nothing even comes close to touching either of those venues.

Saw phish at the gorge in 99, just wow.

I really need to see a show at red rocks.

Dmb is awful imo.

Some might say the same about Phish. It's all preference man. Just because it's not your cup of tea does not mean it automatically suck. Thats whats gets me about kids today. They just dismiss it as shitty if they don't like it. That's such a dumb attitude.

Phish never plays there. If you want to see an awesome live show there, I recommend The Disco Biscuits or string cheese. they always play their best shows their imo. The panic show there in '10 was also very very good.

Phish definitely doesn't play as many memorable jams as they used to in the 90s. It's kind of the same shite over and over with 1 or 2 really good, unique jams per set if that.

Yep...Those Dicks shows sounded pretty good last summer. Wish they would play like that all the time...But they can do what they want...they have earned it

listening to them right now. Light, Runaway Jim, sand, and chalkdust torture are the highlights from those sets for me. Masterpieces.

Im hoping their three night run in chicago this year will be awesome. Dicks will be good for sure.

Not a fan of any of the above bands. Wilco plays there, i need to catch one of their shows. Also, im still kicking myself for not going to see ween at red rocks.

It was absolutely glorious. Best time I have ever had at Red Rocks. That's where my favorite poster comes from too:

Trey loves dicks! IMO it's easily they best 3 day run they have thrown down since 03. I really liked that undermind plus all those you mentioned...Even caspian had a little bite to it. The shows had good flow.

All those were sick but I think the best was Undermind. The frick YOUR FACE show as a whole was just unbelievable. I'm glad I got to watch it live on my couch

Trombone Shorty played Red Rocks. I thought that was odd. I just can't picture him there.

Neil Young threw down two great shows there last year too

hahaha I agree with Bisco...I used to love SCI. They used to throw down at Red Rocks. Saw them at the fox last year I guess for the first time in awhile and was impressed. Much better than last time I saw them in 06.
