Jesus christ kid, being a music snob is not becoming. You know about 1/4 of what you think you know about music. Songs like Satellite, Stay, Crush, Louisiana bayou, Grace is Gone are classics. Deal with it.

Thanks for letting us know what's acceptable while once again proving your lack of music knowledge.

Early DMB was great! Even some mid 90s shows were heat. Those Bela Fleck shows in 97 were amazing! Sorry you missed it

I love Herring. On a technical scale he blows Houser out of the water,

I agree with this. Guy is an incredibly talented guitarist and I didn't see how houser could be better. I just figured he was probably a better fit for WSP than herring.

honestly and truely, both bands are shells of their former selves.

Sad but true...Still some of the best live acts to see IMO of course.

Awesome stuff. They released two of their shows with Bela Fleck as DMB Live Trax Vol. 7

There are a lot of great shows from the 90s in their Live Trax volumes.

ive always wanted to go to the greek amphitheater. I was dissapointed that phish didn't book gigs there. I've been to Red Rocks and the Gorge for concerts and nothing even comes close to touching either of those venues.

They were completely different players. Each great in their own right. Mikey had such a cool sound with his volume pedal work. It was very creative he had such presence. And his tone was second to none IMO. Herring is just a fricking monster. It's hard to beat the guy who actually wrote the song and the beautiful melodies. RIP Mikey

Whatever, I've seen enough of DMB to form my own opinion. I'll give them this, they definitely have the best sorostitutes in the crowd.

And yeah, in real life I will say that DMB sucks.

It's not a matter of being one-dimensional, Dave Matthews band sucks.

We are talking about early Dave here. I got sick of it after 98 myself. In that aspect you have no clue what you are talking about. The man opened up for the Grateful Dead. He can't suck too bad. He writes good music. He might have "sold out" but he has 15-20 thousand new fans at every stop he makes on tour.
