Right...because I haven't been to a NIN show...because I'm not a NIN fan, I haven't been to many shows? I live in Austin. I've been to every ACL and SXSW in the last 8 years. I go to shows 4 nights a week. In my opinion, there is nobody who can match Arcade Fire in energy, passion, and pure musicality. Certainly you are entitled to your opinion, but mine is that AF puts on the best live show that I've ever seen.

What spat?

Something happened between Voodoo and WSP regarding booking. I don't remember exactly what the scenario was but it ended with WSP scheduling 3 concerts the same dates as Voodoo Fest that very same year.

To be fair, if you have the pull to strike back at someone for dicking you over (which in this particular case I would side with WSP because Rehage was a complete doucher), than more power to you.

Anyone else notice those ticket allotment numbers don't add to anywhere close to 18,000?

WSP has been doing 3 night Halloween runs in Nola longer than Voodoo fest has been around.

Multiply the total by 3 nights and it does

you haven't been to many shows? I like them a lot, and they are a great live show; however, NIN has been one of the best live shows the last 2 decades. Between performance and stage spectacular, they kill it. Plus they will be at Voodoo.

NIN and Pearl Jam is worth everything else that sucks at this overhyped event. Maybe it's the 90's coming out of me, but I am really jacked this year (coincindence that Jane's Addiction was the last one I was excited about?).

But yes, I'd love to see AF play. Would make this more than just an expensive concert for me and turn it into an actual "festival" of great bands.

Ive been to many shows and have seen all three bands mentioned and I'd say that AF is a better show/band than the other 2 in this thread... I get it NIN and PJ are "big" and I'll admit some bands don't translate well to festivals and/or arena/stadium atmospheres... but AF is not one of them..

I'm a 90's guy too, but AF over a NIN/PJ double bill any day of the week...

Looks like it's out on their website.

Who would be the third headliner along with PJ and NIN?

As I thought, there's no one I have any desire to see other than the headliners.

I'm assuming they'll hold another headliner for a little bit longer, just like Hangout did.

By assuming I mean hoping, because those additions are not enough to sell extra tickets.

Looking at the design of the new poster they came out with, only PJ and NIN are in the same bigger bolder font and all the rest are smaller. I would think it's pretty safe to say they are holding out on the 3rd. At least that's what I'm telling myself and my friends in our group going lol.
