Has anyone heard any news for Voodoo Fest?

At this point I think I'll just skip out and save my money. I don't think the lineup is going to be anything worth shelling out $150-$200 and going to Nola for anyway. They re-tweeted a fan asking Arcade Fire to be the 3rd headliner. Good band, but it looks like I'll be passing on it. I'd think Kings of Leon would be up for it, though.

Voodoo has been a disaster the past couple of years with the lineup announcement process. They have been pretty much silent the entire month of July after saying the lineup was to be released by the end of June.

I've seen Arcade Fire 3 times. Hands down the best live show I've ever been to.

you haven't been to many shows? I like them a lot, and they are a great live show; however, NIN has been one of the best live shows the last 2 decades. Between performance and stage spectacular, they kill it. Plus they will be at Voodoo.
NIN and Pearl Jam is worth everything else that sucks at this overhyped event. Maybe it's the 90's coming out of me, but I am really jacked this year (coincindence that Jane's Addiction was the last one I was excited about?).
But yes, I'd love to see AF play. Would make this more than just an expensive concert for me and turn it into an actual "festival" of great bands.

Widespread Panic will be doing Nolaween down there and playing Thurs-Sat, I will be doing that instead.

Man, WSP really is butthurt over that spat they had with Voodoo a few years back. But, yes, choosing to see one of the most overrated festival bands over NIN and PJ is a good choice.
