Guitar playing and finger pain.

My index finger hurts UNDER the callous. I can run it up and down string and not hurt the pad of the finger.

I don't get it? 'S plain it's to me. Plus side, it forces me to play barre chords.

My fingers bled for a month, and they were numb for months. Then they got used to it.

I actually think the bass strings hurt more. Try pushing a thick arse E string with a high action.

Yeah, I don’t think a bass string would help me.

Pick your poison really. The bruising of a big wound string or cutting of a little unwound string.

I just found it odd that I have bruising (apparently) under a decent callous.
