Guitar Players: Washburn experience?

I am looking to buy an inexpensive cutaway with built in tuner and pickup. I have looked at a few Washburnes that range between 375-450 on sale. They seem just as good as anything else I have played. Anyone have any experience? Thanks!

Love mine. Added my own electronics but it sounds great. I bought it so I would not beat up my Martin too much taking it places. I play my Washburn more.

So I could be wrong.
The ones I picked up sounded fine. And my buddy who actually CAN string notes together has one. It was what he started on. He now has a Taylor though. Neither have electronics.

They have some cheaper models too that are similar to the 150-200 Yamahas and Fenders, but I am looking for something a little more upscale without breaking the bank. 375 for a 550 Washburn is a good deal.

I have the entry level acoustic Washburn and it has been great. I just started playing about 6 months ago and it's very easy to play for beginners. I'm not sure about the other models though.

Takamine has very good guitars in that price range as well.

While I like the Washburn's I have played, I do like the Ovation Celebrity (Korean made) at this price/feature point. You do have to figure out what bowl you want, but I like the slim.
If you're put off by the Ovation bodies, Yamaha makes good guitars in this range as well - but if you're already liking the Washburn's - I would shop around as $450 is getting up there. You might be able to find a used Guild in pretty good shape.

This thread has so much suck in it. Everybody saying ~$450 is "pricey" is clearly not real pickers.
Ovations have got to be the worst guitars on the market.
You just don't buy a Fender or Yamaha acoustic. You just don't.
Washburn is no better than Fender and/or Yamaha.
If you get a Takamine, don't go cheap. Get one of their higher ends.
If you really want to be taken seriously and not looked at as a campfire player, go invest in a Taylor, Martin, or Gibson. Then learn to really play it. Don't just learn songs. Learn more than G, C, and D. Invest in the whole thing, from the guitar you buy to the time it takes to actually become a player.

I've got a Yamaha Acoustic I gave 450 for. It's probably my most played acoustic, sounds good for the price, and doesn't look terrible. I'm usually an electric guy though.
Also, I'm really fond of Seagulls for that price range.

Nope. Not a real picker. I thought $450 was pricey for a Washburn? Not pricey in general obviously when talking about Gibson, Taylor, and Martin you get to 4 figures quick.

My taste in style/music changes too often to go all in on every purchase.
