I love a good E major or this other one that I don't know the name of but it's basically a C with the g string on fret 1 instead of the b string.

D chord out of drop D tuning and pretty much any major chord. Major triads with added notes are beautiful.

That's an E-shaped minor triad. It's B minor in that position.

at the moment it's the F6no3 prominently used in the song "Right and Wrong" by Joe Jackson.
