No Houston dates

No idea if they are playing both albums in full, but that seems to be implied?

Considering Austin since the Pumpkins aren't playing - I may try going to that one

I'd still go if they actually end up playing Dookie in full

Shocking that NOLA isn't included.

All the shows are baseball stadiums or amphitheaters.

They also didn't draw all that great the last time they played Smoothie King.

I've been thinking they could upgrade Tad Gormley as a modified ampitheater that would hold crowds the same size as Woodlands - but I don't know if there's enough demand to make it worth it.

The tour coincides with the 30th anniversary of Green Day and the Smashing Pumpkins playing Lollapalooza 1994 together.

Meh.

I saw Smashing Pumpkins 30 years ago this month at a club in Gainesville on the Siamese Dream tour so there’s no possible way they can top that experience.

I despise Green Day with their whiny political preaching. So frick them.

To be consistent though, I have stated on here before that I’m not a fan of people jumping into threads just to shite on them, so OP I hope you have a great time if you do go see them.

Waiting to see what the set lists are like once the tour begins - I've seen Green Day a few times, if it's same old shite - no point in driving 6 hours...

Hmmm...The wife and I are already in DC on July 28 for the Blink show. Might be adding a couples days to the trip!

There’s some belief that since Green Day tends to have two hour sets that they might play Dookie and American Idiot in their entirety which would be nuts
