Axl is done.
Slash could still get some things done.
(ETA: And before I forget - No Izzy? No care.)

100% garbage.
That's disappointing.

Saw them last night at Metlife Stadium. Pretty awesome show actually. Axl is still probably 96% of what he used to be vocally. I gained some respect for Slash because he absolutely killed it. A bucket list show, honestly.
Wolfie's band was decent.
Setlist
It's So Easy
Mr. Brownstone
Chinese Democracy
Slither (Velvet Revolver cover)

Welcome to the Jungle (Link Wray's "Rumble" intro)
Better

You're Crazy(Slow Version)
Rocket Queen
You Could Be Mine
I Wanna Be Your Dog (The Stooges cover)
Absurd
Civil War (Jimi Hendrix's "Machine Gun" outro)
Slash Guitar Solo
Sweet Child o' Mine
November Rain
Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Nightrain
Encore:
Patience

Not a fan of the song. It’s not good. I have pit for the AAC show in Dallas so I’m ready.

GnR is still great in concert. Not sure WTF is going on with that new single.

You know those songs you don't like when you first hear them, but after giving them a few more listens they quickly grow on you?
I'll never know if this is one of those songs, because I'm going to do whatever's in my power to ensure I never hear that again. Huge disappointment.

Yeah, that definitely is not great

I remember going to see Slash with his band Slash’s Snakepit in Houston in the early 2000s.

I went to listen just to be able to come back here and say “C’mon guys. It’s not that bad.” I apologize for doubting you. It is absolutely that bad. This is the worst song I’ve heard in a long time.

Apparently it is not really a "new" song. It was written in the sessions for Chinese Democracy with the title "Silkworms". GnR played it a handful of times in 2001. Here it is in the original form. It really isn't a ton different. There are bigger guitars and fewer keys in the newer version.

Were they ever any good?
Way over rated.
Way over rated.

That sounds like something Stone Temple Pilots might have recorded in a studio session in the early '90s.
Then Scott Weiland would absorb a kilo of heroin, listen to the track, and be like . . . "yeah, that was shite mates let's do something better".
So sad because Axl and GNR was lightning in a bottle in the beginning.

These things are subjective but I think early GnR was pretty tight myself

I like it. The lyrics are on point for the times.

Song isn’t great for a GnR new song and the expectations that come with that.
But it’s not the worst thing ever.
