Queen had more radio hits and had the best live shows imo. However, if you told me I had to listen to 10 random songs from either Queen or PF from all their albums, I would definitely enjoy 10 rando PF than Queen. There are some absolute duds in the Queen repertoire.

Pink Floyd has better overall albums.
I only give the nod to Queen because they were slightly more groundbreaking and influential.

I mean I'd say Floyd was way more groundbreaking and influential musically wise.
Queen put Arena Rock into a whole new stratosphere, but i don't think it was necessarily the music...I attribute that due to their shows

I'm about the only person alive who doesn't really like Queen. Yes, I know. Hey, they were great at Live Aid. But I own their greatest hits and still hit skip any time one of their songs pop up on my iPod. Just not my scene.
Floyd can be pretty bloated at times, but Dark Side is a near lifetime pass.

I'm amazed by the people saying Queen. Queen has some exceptional songs, but Floyd has a complete body of work. Floyd changes peoples lives.
Guess it just depends on your personal experiences and tastes.
