She's gettin' dicked down in Dallas, railed out in Raleigh
Tag teamed up in Tennessee
Analed in Austin, buttfricked in Boston
Givin' neck down in New Orleans
Puttin' me through hell, frickin' someone else
Now I'm the one on my knees
Prayin' she'll come back, gimm? that sweet arse
But I already know that she's gettin' dick?d down in Dallas

She's probably in the Lone Star State Suckin' off ol' what's his name
I wonder what her daddy'd say
Maybe he's the one to blame

Louisiana 1927 - Aaron Neville version, but Randy Newman’s is great also.

Why would anybody from Louisiana like this song? It’s a song about paranoia, surrender, self-pity and looking to the almighty government for federal handouts. It could have been a song about resilience, love of home, and self-determination, but we all know, Newman don’t swing that way.

This song just gets me. Funky little slow bass groove by the best in the bidness.

I think Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald counts.

If not, I go with Cocky by Kid Rock.

Skinny models you can keep those
I like big corn fed Midwestern ho's

Holdin' shares cool like Fonzie

You’ve inferred quite a lot here. There’s no place for mourning or pain after a catastrophe? A populace that has a history of being driven from their homes might not see the possibility of a repeat performance?
