I do, and for two reasons:

1) To me the sound quality is a little better and
2) My car is not equipped with an AUX input for MP3. I drive an older car.

Plus I buy all my cd's on Amazon which automatically gives you a free digital copy of the tracks also. Auto-Rip FTW

Yes. Most of my listening is done while driving. Rather burn to a cd than take up room on my phone.

I make mix CDs fairly often for the car...reason 2 applies to me as well.

Sound quality of CD's is way better than .mp3 format. The bass guitar and drums are crisper, the bass is more compressed. Yeah, .mp3 is convenient but sometimes I'll trade convenience for sound quality.

I rarely notice sound quality like some people do. I also think some people are full of shite.

But yes, I listen to CD's. I do it at home, in the car. I don't carry a discman anymore, though I did see someone with one the other day.

I tend to buy CD's of bands I really like. I listen in the car, though I will rip it to my iPod as well. But I buy less and less of them each year.

I'll burn something onto a CD and listen to it if I'm not familiar with it, and then if i like it I put it on my ipod.

It's sort of my system to not overload my ipod with music I don't really like or listen to much.

I did until I moved to NY last year and didn't need a car anymore. Now I just buy off iTunes or Amazon. Whichever is cheaper.

I do in the car because my phone can't hold much music.
