Muddy Waters... Folk Singer
one of the greatest debut albums ever. Also a marketing genius as when that album was released blues were FAR from popular, by labeling it a folk album it sold and people "discovered" the blues.
Very interested in the stones/waters show. Any details?

Is the Hill Country Blues and not really the Delta Blues. I actually prefer the hill country style. Junior, RL, Otha Turner, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Charles Caldwell. I guess you could consider NMAS closer to that style too.
As far as Delta style, currently it's probably T Model Ford.

I was really into it when I was living up there and I do miss the exposure to it.
BTW, my great uncle's name was R.D. and it didn't stand for anything either. In the army, the kept bugging him about it and he finally told them it stood for Rabbit Dog.
